Dear Grumpy,
I'd love to have you on Strictly Come Dancing, in fact I would love to have you, but don't tell Vern.

He's so grumpy we thought we'd give him his own page to get it all off his chest and (maybe) cheer him up......
Probably not though!!!
Grumpy writes At the outset, before all you Wengerites out there start defending the "genius" saying "one defeat and he's started", may I remind you that throughout last season I maintained that Wenger had lost the plot.
Like Hitler in his Berlin bunker during the last of the Third Reich, he maintains that nothing is wrong. Whereas Adolf claimed there was a mythical army about to appear over the horizon to save him, Wenger maintains that with another midfielder and all will be well and we will win the serious trophies. Total bollocks!
Amongst many others I have said that the "spine" of the team needs to be improved considerably. A world class centre-back, midfielder and striker are needed at the very least to create any semblance of a challenge for honours after the exits of the close season.
Instead we get an ageing crock from Manchester United, a 17 year old who Wenger immediately changes to a new position (and then promptly drops- shades of Walcott) and the new Pires, (let us all pray he is).
Available funds is not an excuse. Arsenal are in a far better financial position than all clubs, including Manchester United, except for Chelski. Wenger simply will not buy because he is arrogant and will not be told. Yes, expect a panic buy, maybe Alonso, this week. A welcome addition, anyone is better than what we currently have in the middle, but we will still be way short on quality.
Okay, I know that many of you will say look what he has done for the club and he cannot be jettisoned after a bad season or two. Well, history and football are littered with those who start off marvellously then lose the plot: Napoleon, Thatcher, Blair, Bertie Mee and George Graham - and AW is no exception. Four years without anything for a club in our position is simply not on. No Champions League next season would be a financial disaster for the club and see us "relegated" to the second tier of also-rans in the Premier League, along with the likes of Newcastle and Villa.Wenger has too much power and is untouchable. This must change - and quickly before this season is a right-off before the end of September.
I love this club, it is so very much part of my life, and have followed them through thick and thin for nearly 50 years and I cannot stand by and watch a great club lose it's way in this fashion.
Now to the disaster at the disaster at the Cottage which I suffered from the comfort of my living room thanks to Setanta.
Almunia Little to do. But what he did he did well. Had no chance with the goal.......6
Sagna By his high standards, a poor game........................................................5
Clichy Below par performance too from the best left back at arsenal since
the thirties..........................................................................................6
Toure Kolo, what has happened to the wonderful player we saw at the start of
last season ? Really very poor and with Gallas, made the West Ham
reject Zamora look world class..............................................................4
Gallas The poor man's Sol Campbell gives so many goals away it is unbelievable
that he can maintain his place in the team, let alone captain. Djourou had
a decent game against WBA, so AW dropped him!
Walcott Sorry Theo, I defended you last season, but time is up. It is simply not
enough to say that he does not get the service. This is true. But when he
does get the ball he is clueless. Looks like a schoolboy and playing like one....1
Denilson After a mildly encouraging performance against WBA he returned to the
useless pedestrian twat that we all recognise against Fulham.
He was abysmally slow and his distribution was atrocious -out now! .........1
Ebouseless It goes to show how bad things are getting when this nerd actually
played better than Walcott and Denilson - just........................................2
Nasri After an excellent debut last week, it was back to reality. An in and out
game and will need time to settle in....but not too much......................5
RvP Totally ineffective. Injuries are behind him now and he must start to
produce quality and consistently...with goals........................................3
Adebeyor The Clown again juggled and jiggled and "nearly" scored again. For older
supporters read Jon Sammels. His conversion rate last season was poor,
this year it looks like it will be worse still. Oh, for a Villa or a Santa Cruz
or a John Radford, Ian Wright or the divine Thierry.............................2
Subs: The Donkey Dane...0; Song... AW tactical genius switching him for Toure!
Let's hope we can stumble through against the might of Twente....I'll be there suffering.
Dear Grumpy,
I'd love to have you on Strictly Come Dancing, in fact I would love to have you, but don't tell Vern.

I have to say that although wiff-waff is my game, this bloke is an absolute diamond. I am appointing him forthwith to my London Government team.
This chap is spot on with his views. I would like to hear more from him - Arsene could certainly learn a good deal.

We all think Grumpy is great. He is wise, handsome and rich and a really wasted talent - more please.
